Thomas is an associate lawyer with Desmarais Keenan LLP. Joining the firm in May, 2023, Thomas’ practice focuses mainly on family law and tax litigation.

Thomas is a passionate advocate for his clients. As a lawyer, he strives to develop comprehensive and practical solutions that work for the entire family. He is a perceptive listener who takes the time to understand every facet of his client's situation, ensures that their voice is heard and their finances are adequately protected.

His family law practice involves advising on a broad range of issues in court and through various modes of dispute resolution. He regularly advises clients on child and spousal support, property disputes, separation agreements, cohabitation arrangements, and marriage contracts. With a background in accounting and tax, Thomas brings additional insight to sophisticated corporate, trust, tax, business, and investment structures as they relate to family law.

Growing up in Sudbury, Thomas proudly graduated from the Bora Laskin School of Law at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay in 2019, allowing him to complete his university education entirely in the Northern Ontario. Thomas has a great appreciation for his community and sits on the Board of United Way Centraide North-East Ontario where he helps to meet the needs of our most vulnerable people in the North.
