Michael is a partner at Desmarais, Keenan LLP, a reputable law firm in Sudbury's downtown. He has over 12 years of experience in civil and commercial litigation with an interest in estate, real estate and construction law matters.

As a partner, Michael leads and supports a team of talented lawyers and paralegals, delivering high-quality legal services to a diverse clientele. He has successfully represented and advised individuals and businesses in various legal proceedings, negotiations, and transactions.

Michael is passionate about contributing to his community. He is a past-Chair of the Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce, where he contributed to the support and advocacy of the local business community and is currently the a Governance Chair of the NEO Kids Foundation and currently a Board Member of the Health Sciences North Foundation, where he helps guide the organization in its mission to support the health in Northeast Ontario.

In his spare time, Michael can be found spending time with family at his summer cottage, biking and skiing.
